CADs are a Sheffield-based charity, providing affordable studio, event, and performance spaces for
artists and creatives.
The Chair engaged me to support a member of the CADS leadership team as she worked on making improvements to their internal systems, governance, and strategy. Over the course of several months, we have been working responsively on several areas, including risk management, board reporting, impact reporting, and investment readiness.
My input at CADS has been primarily in supporting a member of the leadership team to build her confidence and influence as a leader. She has been working on in creating robust governance practices which would be required by investors and funders undertaking their due diligence, and on supporting the board to develop and become more robust.
As an ongoing client, I have seen great progress at CADS during the time we have worked together. They have made significant improvements around governance and risk management, and they have become more resilient and robust. Most encouragingly, I have seen a great change in the confidence of the leadership team member, as she continues driving the organisation forward with passion, commitment, and determination.
